It is with great excitement that Don Bosco Camp would like to announce that from October 2017, we will be building new facilities on site.
These fantastic new facilities will include a chapel, 3 multi-purpose halls, half court gym, reception building, additional toilets and showers, and a large open decking area.
These new buildings will be in addition to our existing dining room, hall and 4 dormitories, which will not be affected during construction. A temporary marquee hall and games shed will also be provided to allow the camp to continue operating during construction.
These new facilities will be replacing and in the same footprint as the old white buildings and brick toilets.
Don Bosco Camp will be fully operational during construction. We have made sure there are plenty of facilities available and are confident we can still provide the same fantastic experience for your group.
See below for all the great facilities you will be able to utilise whilst on camp. We only take one group at a time, so you will get them all to yourself!
The camp site can accommodate up to 128 people, comprising four separate dormitories which accommodate 32 people each. The dormitories have individual rooms with double bunks that sleep between 4-8 people in each room.
All dormitories have bathroom facilities under the same roof as well as heating and fans. Additionally, each dormitory has a separate room with ensuite facilities for teachers/leaders.

To accommodate additional numbers, we also have a Beach House adjacent to the camp site that can sleep an extra 20 people, refer to the Beach House section for more details.
With a wide open deck and great view across the whole campsite, the dining room is the main meeting area on camp.
The dining room is equipped with everything required to make meal times efficient and effortless. It is serviced by a modern commercial kitchen and has designated service and clean up areas with a commercial dishwasher. It has all the required cutlery and crockery as well as enough tables and chairs to seat up to 150 people, which can be easily set up and packed away to suit the requirements of the groups.
At the front of the room there is large double door fridge always stocked with plenty of refreshments and fresh fruit for campers to have round the clock. There is also an espresso coffee machine, a variety of teas, hot water and milk available at all times.
The dinner room is equipped with fans, heaters and a noise reducing straw roof making it an ideal additional break out room for presentations, rehearsals and indoor games.
The recently updated Hall is a popular gathering space in the camp site. With a high roof, solid wooden floor boards and a raised stage area at one end, this large space is suitable for a wide range of activities including dancing, indoor games, rehearsals or presentations.
The wide space can comfortably seat 100 people and is set up with a projector, sound system, DVD player and computer connections. The Hall also features a small stage at the front of the room and an upright piano which is always available for use. Additional chairs can easily be arranged to meet the needs of your group.
The Marquee is newest addition to the camp site and has quickly become the most popular attraction. Positioned on the far side of the car park, away from construction and adjacent to rows of trees, this large hall is the ideal place for quieter reflection activities, discussions, presentations and liturgies.
The marquee is fully equipped with lights, a projector, sound system, DVD player, computer connections and powerpoints. This large hall area can comfortably seat 100 people and additional chairs can easily be arranged to meet the needs of your group. The marquee can be opened up to take in the open air surrounds, or be closed up to be as secure as a building.
The Games Shed is the ultimate games and activity hub for your camp. Pool tables, table tennis and table soccer are all set up and always available for use. There is also a chill out corner with couches and chairs for board games, cards, relaxation or discussions.
The Games Shed also houses an array of basic sporting items that are available to catered groups. Cricket, football, soccer, volleyball, frisbees etc. can be found within.
