The Don Bosco Youth Retreat Team is made up of committed and passionate young people who specialize in running Catholic retreats for school students. The members of the team have years of experience running retreats, holiday camps and leadership training for young people and youth leaders. They work with the Salesian philosophy of friendship and companionship, walking beside the young.
After a successful 65 years of running programs for young people at Don Bosco Camp we can identify the undeniable value in youth to youth ministry, especially when it comes to engaging young people in R.E and personal development. As Salesians we value the enthusiasm and fresh openness of young people regardless of their experience of Church. Young people need to know how unique they are and to discover their individual gifts and talents.
The Team’s mission is to create the spirit of the retreat in such a way that each participant feels included, respected and valued. With this principle as the context for our ministry each student can carry this mindset through their school years and beyond.
A dynamic and spirit-filled retreat experience can be a significant turning point or awakening in a young person’s spiritual journey.

What we Offer
The Team offers a range of action-packed 2-5 day retreats/leadership programs for both primary and secondary schools and parish youth groups.
